Commercial Manager required for a leading engineering company due to continued growth. This is an exciting opportunity for someone to join a company with a well-established trading history.

This role would suit an experienced Commercial Manager with experience in industries such as engineering, manufacturing, energy, marine or similar. This role would also suit commercially minded candidates with a background in Sales or Project Management looking for a commercially focused role and away from direct sales.

Working closely with the company's MD, the successful candidate will take a commercial lead on engineering projects, from tender to delivery.

The Commercial Manager Role:

andmiddot; Own and maintain sales forecast
andmiddot; Control stock levels in line with sales forecast
andmiddot; Validate pricing, margins, payment profiles etc.
andmiddot; Negotiation with customers, suppliers and sub-contractors
andmiddot; Monitor project margins
andmiddot; Complete post-project analysis for continuous improvement
andmiddot; Work closely with sales, engineering and operations teams

The Commercial Manager Candidate:

andmiddot; Experience in a commercially focused role - Commercial Manager, Sales Manager, Project manager or similar
andmiddot; Experience in an industry related to engineering, manufacturing, energy, marine, capital equipment or similar
andmiddot; Experience and understanding of pricing and margins
andmiddot; Experience of managing commercial risks
andmiddot; Forecasting experience
andmiddot; Experience with post-project analysis
andmiddot; Confident leading negotiations
