Job Title: Container Repairer
Location: Coatbridge
Salary: £33,160k basic
Hours: Monday to Friday, 7am to 5pm

Overtime: Paid at 1.5x

The Role:

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Container Repairer to join a busy team based in Coatbridge. This is an excellent opportunity for a practical, hands-on individual with experience in container repairs, welding and general maintenance.
The successful candidate will be responsible for inspecting, repairing and maintaining containers to ensure they meet the required safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carrying out repairs and maintenance to shipping containers.
• Completing welding and metalwork repairs as required.
• Repairing and replacing container floors.
• Carrying out curtain repairs and replacements.
• Inspecting containers to identify damage and determine the necessary repairs.
• Using hand tools, power tools and welding equipment safely.
• Maintaining a clean and organised working environment.
• Following all relevant health and safety procedures.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in container repairs or a similar repair/maintenance role.
• Welding experience is essential.
• Experience with floor repairs and curtain repairs.
• Good practical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• A strong work ethic and commitment to quality and safety.
