EYFS Teacher - Communication & Interaction Unit
Long-Term Supply | Potential Temp-to-Perm | Full-Time

Simply Education are seeking an experienced EYFS Teacher to work within a specialist Communication and Interaction Unit supporting children in EYFS and Key Stage 1.

The provision currently has 7 pupils with a range of additional needs, with capacity for up to 10 children.

This is a role for a teacher who can combine a nurturing EYFS approach with strong behaviour management, consistency and clear boundaries. The successful candidate will need to be confident adapting their teaching and responding to individual needs while creating a safe, structured and engaging learning environment.

We are looking for an EYFS Teacher who:

• Has strong experience within EYFS and/or primary education
• Has experience working with children with additional needs, ideally including communication and interaction needs
• Has excellent behaviour management skills
• Is confident managing challenging behaviour calmly and consistently
• Can establish routines, boundaries and high expectations
• Is creative and adaptable in their approach to learning
• Builds positive relationships with pupils while maintaining professional boundaries
• Works effectively alongside teaching assistants and wider professionals
• Is resilient, patient and committed to improving outcomes for every child

This is a particularly rewarding opportunity for a teacher who enjoys working with children who require a more individualised approach to learning.
