We are recruiting an experienced Traffic Management Operative to join a local authority highways team in Leicester. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with highways or traffic management experience seeking ongoing work.
The Role
- Pay: £18.14 - £21.39 per hour (Umbrella), depending on experience
- Location: Leicester (LE4)
- Contract: Ongoing
Responsibilities
- Setting out roadwork signage, cones and traffic management equipment
- Implementing and maintaining safe traffic management measures
- Supporting highway maintenance and construction activities
- Erecting posts, backfilling and reinstating highways
- Maintaining safe working areas for road users and site operatives
About You
- Previous traffic management or highway maintenance experience
- Full UK Category B driving licence - essential
- NRSWA, CSCS and LANTRA qualifications desirable
- Practical experience and a strong understanding of highway safety
