Class 2 Refuse Driver / Loader - Croydon

Pay: £22.86 per hour
Hours: Monday to Friday
Job Type: Temp to Perm
Licence: Class 2 (Cat C)

We are currently recruiting for Class 2 Refuse Drivers / Loaders to join a busy waste and recycling operation in Croydon.

The Role

You will be responsible for driving a Class 2 refuse collection vehicle while also working as part of the crew to collect waste from residential and commercial properties across the local area.

Duties will include:

• Driving a Class 2 RCV safely and responsibly
• Working alongside loaders to complete waste collections
• Loading and emptying bins
• Residential and commercial refuse collections
• Carrying out vehicle checks before and during shifts
• Following designated routes and site procedures
• Maintaining high standards of health and safety

Requirements

• Valid Class 2 (Cat C) licence
• Valid CPC
• Valid Digital Tachograph Card
• Previous Class 2 driving experience
• Refuse/waste experience is preferred
• Good understanding of health and safety
• Reliable and physically fit for the loading aspect of the role
