Job Description

Location: Beckton & Riverside, London
Start Date: 02/11/2026
Contract Length: 8 weeks
Hours: Monday-Friday, 7:30 am start
Rate: £180 per day

We are looking for a reliable Semi-Skilled Operative / Labourer for an 8-week contract working across two water treatment sites in Beckton and Riverside.

Duties will include:

  • Working within aeration lanes.

  • Cleaning and preparing work areas.

  • Removing existing pipework.

  • Installing new pipework.

  • Loading removed pipework into skips.

This is physically demanding, dirty work, but there are good breaks and a friendly, supportive team on site.

Essential Requirements:

  • Medium-Risk Confined Space qualification. (Preferred but Training can be provided)

  • Valid Thames Water Passport. (Preferred but Training can be provided)

  • Valid CSCS Card.

  • Previous Water Treatment Experience

  • Standard 5-point PPE.

  • Orange high-visibility clothing, including a long-sleeved top and trousers.

  • Steel-toe-capped Wellington boots.
