Job role: Lead Plant Operator
£35,000 + Company Benefits - Overtime - Training
Monday - Friday - Day Shift
Our client is a leading recycling company looking for an experienced-Lead Plant Operator-to join their team.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced plant operator to take responsibility for day-to-day site activities, lead a team of recycling operatives, and operate a range of heavy plant and machinery within a busy recycling facility.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and support a team of recycling operatives.
- Take ownership and responsibility for day-to-day site activities.
- Operate plant machinery across the recycling facility.
- Operate large crane systems safely and efficiently.
- Operate a range of other heavy plant and machinery.
- Assist with the training and development of junior team members.
- Assist with loading and unloading vehicles.
- Operate and assist with site balers.
- Carry out machinery inspections and report any faults or maintenance requirements.
- Maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment.
- Follow all company health & safety procedures and ensure the correct PPE is worn at all times.
