Title: Legal Administrative Officer
Contract Type: Permanent, Full-Time, 35 hours
Salary: -32,000 per annum (London weighted salary) or -28,000 per annum (Regional salary)
Grade: 5
Reporting Office: London, Stratford or Manchester, Trafford
Persona: Agile Worker: 20% - 40% of contractual hours to be worked from reporting office/working location (hybrid working)

This role is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic and proactive individual to join our dynamic in house legal team. If this sounds like you, we would love for you to apply!
You will provide a high standard of administrative support across the board to solicitors and paralegals in the legal team managing a high volume mixed litigation caseload that includes service charge disputes, tenancy breach enforcement action, judicial review challenges, leasehold disputes, tenancy fraud, possession proceedings, injunctive proceeding for anti-social behaviour and access and a range of other complex litigation disputes.
You will report to the Managing Solicitor for Leasehold & Housing Disputes.

Your impact in the role:
Your main duties will include the following:
- Opening and closing electronic files
- Raising purchase orders and carrying out financial reconciliations
- Maintaining up to date financial records
- Liaising with the finance team to ensure the timely and efficient processing of legal invoices
- Liaising with colleagues in the legal team and in other business areas across the organisation as well as our external panel solicitors on our legal services framework
- Monitoring online legal referrals and ensuring legal referrals are allocated in a timely manner
- Managing diaries
- Photocopying and scanning documents, collating documents and preparing court bundles
- Updating case spreadsheets
- Sorting and allocating legal post
- Requesting title documents from the land registry
- Excellent communication skills
- Good Knowledge of Microsoft software
- Experience with a invoicing or purchasing order system
- Some experience working in a legal environment
- Excellent organisational skills
