A Music Teacher is needed in a Coeducational Secondary School & Sixth Form in Essex.

This Music Teacher position can be part or full time and will be temporary in the first instance.

Teaching for this Music Teacher post will be for KS3 and KS4 classes.

Experience of teaching KS5 Music will be advantageous when being considered for this Music Teacher role but is not essential.

The rates of pay for this Music Teacher position will be between -150 and -275 depending on the qualifications and experiences of each applicant.

The School

A Mixed Academy for pupils aged 11 to 18 years old, located in Billericay.

It was established in 2011 and there are currently just over 1700 pupils on enrolment.

Pupils arrive on site at 8:20am and the last period is at 3:05pm.

Inspectors have observed that 'pupils enjoy learning. They value the support they receive from staff for their progress and well-being.'

They also noted that 'pupils treat each other and adults with respect. They are keen to take part in lessons and do well.'

Requirements

You're encouraged to apply if you recently qualified as a Music Teacher or are an experienced Music Teacher.

Applications are also welcome if you're a British trained Music Teacher or overseas trained Music Teacher.

• Right to work in the UK
• UK QTS or an overseas equivalent
• Clear and up to date Enhanced DBS
• Experience as a Music Teacher in UK schools
