THE ROLE
As an Experienced Prepper / Painter, you will be responsible for preparing and painting accident-damaged vehicles to a consistently high standard. You'll work closely with the wider bodyshop team to ensure vehicles are completed efficiently, safely and to the required quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
andmiddot;Prepare vehicles and panels for painting, including sanding, filling, masking and priming
andmiddot;Carry out paint application and refinishing to a high professional standard
andmiddot;Complete colour matching, blending and polishing where required
andmiddot;Inspect finished work and rectify any imperfections to ensure a quality finish
andmiddot;Work closely with Panel Technicians, MET Technicians and Workshop Controllers
andmiddot;Maintain tools, equipment and work areas in a clean, safe and professional condition
andmiddot;Follow manufacturer repair methods, bodyshop quality standards and Health & Safety procedures
andmiddot;Complete repairs within agreed timescales while maintaining excellent workmanship

ABOUT YOU
We're looking for an experienced and quality-focused Prepper / Painter who takes pride in their work and can consistently deliver high-quality vehicle repairs.

andmiddot;Proven experience as a Prepper, Painter, Paint Technician or similar within an automotive bodyshop

andmiddot;Strong knowledge of vehicle preparation and paint application techniques
andmiddot;Experience with sanding, filling, masking, priming and panel preparation
andmiddot;Knowledge of colour matching, blending and refinishing techniques
andmiddot;Excellent attention to detail and a strong commitment to quality
andmiddot;Ability to work efficiently within a busy accident repair environment
andmiddot;Able to work to deadlines and agreed production times
andmiddot;Strong team player with a professional and positive attitude
andmiddot;IMI and/or ATA qualifications advantageous but not essential
andmiddot;Full UK Driving Licence preferred
