Job Details

Sales Operations Manager required to join an established business in what will be a hands-on role, managing a team of 18 Catering Drivers, ensuring daily targets are achieved, growing the customer base and opportunities. Salary is £40,000, plus bonus. Working hours are Monday - Friday, 7.00am - 3.30pm.

Duties:

• Oversee a team of 18 Catering Drivers, Sales Assistants
• Brief staff for the day ahead and at the end of each day
• Out on the deliveries with the team learning the areas and core customer base
• Build and monitor sales through face to face interaction
• Ensure staff follow safety rules and company procedures
• Organise team holiday rota
• Manage and monitor absence, arranging appropriate coverage using internal covers or personal intervention
• Manage complaints
• Assist with recruitment for the team

Experience required:

• Previous face to face experience, ideally in a sales target driven capacity
• Confident communication skills, excellent customer service experience
• Team management experience is essential
• Catering, hospitality experience is desirable
• A motivated, and positive individual, with get up and go!
• Ability to organise a busy and varied workload, remain calm under pressure, and proactive in approach to tasks
• PC literate with Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook skills
