Commercial Vehicle Service Advisor / Service Advisor
Location: Cardiff
Salary: £32,598 rising to £33,575 after successful probation
Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday between 7:00am-6:00pm + 1 in 3 Saturdays, 8:00am-1:00pm

The Role
As a Commercial Vehicle Service Advisor, you will act as the key link between customers and the workshop, managing vehicles throughout the service and repair process and ensuring customers receive a professional and efficient service.
Your responsibilities will include:
andmiddot;Managing customer enquiries by telephone, email and face-to-face
andmiddot;Booking commercial vehicles into the workshop
andmiddot;Understanding customer requirements and agreeing work to be carried out
andmiddot;Preparing accurate job cards and estimates
andmiddot;Liaising closely with Technicians and workshop management
andmiddot;Keeping customers updated throughout the repair process
andmiddot;Identifying additional work and obtaining customer authorisation
andmiddot;Managing customer expectations and resolving queries professionally
andmiddot;Ensuring all workshop administration is completed accurately
andmiddot;Preparing vehicles for collection and explaining completed work
andmiddot;Maintaining excellent customer service standards

About You
The ideal candidate will have:
andmiddot;Previous Service Advisor experience - essential
andmiddot;Experience within a commercial vehicle, HGV or automotive workshop environment
andmiddot;Strong customer service and communication skills
andmiddot;Good understanding of vehicle servicing and repair processes
andmiddot;Excellent organisation and attention to detail
andmiddot;Ability to manage multiple jobs and priorities in a busy environment
andmiddot;Confident telephone and face-to-face communication skills
andmiddot;Kerridge experience - desirable
andmiddot;Professional and reliable approach
andmiddot;Ability to work effectively as part of a team
