Team Leader - Children's Residential Home

Are you an experienced Senior Support Worker ready for your next step?

We are recruiting for a Team Leader to join a children's residential care provider with homes across Birmingham. You will support the Registered Manager and Deputy Manager in delivering high-quality care and positive outcomes for children and young people.

Responsibilities

• Lead shifts and support the day-to-day running of the home.
• Provide a safe, nurturing and supportive environment for children and young people.
• Support education, independence and emotional wellbeing.
• Ensure care plans, risk assessments and safeguarding procedures are followed.
• Maintain accurate records and reports.
• Support and guide Residential Support Workers.
• Attend reviews, meetings and multi-agency discussions.
• Promote positive outcomes and high standards of care.

Requirements

• NVQ Level 3 or 4 in Health & Social Care, Residential Childcare or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year's experience in a Senior role within a Children's Residential Home.
• Strong safeguarding knowledge.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• Flexibility to work across homes in Yardley Wood, Kings Heath, Moseley and Oldbury.
