VEHICLE TECHNICIAN
Location: Croydon
Basic Salary: £35,000 to £42,000 DOE
Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Hours: Monday to Saturday, 9:00am to 6:00pm

THE ROLE
As a Vehicle Mechanic, you will be responsible for carrying out high-quality servicing, maintenance and repair work while ensuring all work is completed efficiently and to the highest standards.
Your responsibilities will include:
andmiddot;Carrying out servicing, maintenance and repair work
andmiddot;Completing a variety of service and maintenance operations
andmiddot;Carrying out assembly operations and repairs efficiently
andmiddot;Diagnosing and identifying mechanical faults
andmiddot;Working to the highest standards of quality and efficiency
andmiddot;Ensuring all work complies with manufacturer and safety standards
andmiddot;Accurately completing job cards and service documentation
andmiddot;Providing excellent technical support and advice where required
andmiddot;Maintaining a clean, safe and organised working environment

ABOUT YOU
We're looking for an experienced Vehicle Mechanic / Vehicle Technician with:
andmiddot;NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent
andmiddot;At least 2 years' experience working as a Vehicle Mechanic within the automotive industry
andmiddot;Strong mechanical and technical skills
andmiddot;A good understanding of servicing, maintenance and repair procedures
andmiddot;A current MOT Licence would be advantageous but is not essential
andmiddot;Your own tools and toolbox
andmiddot;A full manual UK Driving Licence, subject to licence checks
andmiddot;The right to work in the UK
