The Role
As a Vehicle Technician, Vehicle Mechanic or Automotive Technician, you'll play an important role in maintaining high standards of vehicle safety, quality and customer satisfaction.
Your responsibilities will include:
andmiddot;Carrying out servicing, maintenance, inspections and mechanical repairs to manufacturer standards.
andmiddot;Diagnosing faults and identifying worn, damaged or defective components.
andmiddot;Completing vehicle inspections and recommending any necessary repairs.
andmiddot;Ensuring all work is completed accurately, efficiently and in line with health and safety requirements.
andmiddot;Providing technical advice and support where required.
andmiddot;Working closely with Service Advisors and Workshop Controllers to ensure efficient workflow.
andmiddot;Supporting colleagues and sharing technical knowledge within the workshop.
andmiddot;Maintaining accurate job records and delivering high-quality workmanship.

About You
To be considered for this Vehicle Technician position, you'll ideally have:
andmiddot;NVQ Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or an equivalent qualification.
andmiddot;Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician, Vehicle Mechanic or Automotive Technician.
andmiddot;Strong mechanical knowledge and the ability to diagnose and repair vehicle faults.
andmiddot;A thorough understanding of vehicle safety standards and manufacturer procedures.
andmiddot;The ability to meet productivity targets without compromising quality.
andmiddot;Excellent attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
andmiddot;A positive, team-focused attitude and a commitment to customer satisfaction.
andmiddot;A full, valid UK driving licence.

A current MOT Tester licence would be advantageous but is not essential.
